Its available now! Go90Grow!

Are you frustrated by all the No’s you hear when you tell someone about your NWM business? Are you frustrated by all the prospects that say they will look at your presentation but don’t?  Or maybe your frustrated by those folks that finally do enroll and they don’t do anything.

What I learned in the Go90Grow course is the subconscious makes all the decisions. Once I learned the skills of how to speak to it, I got yes 90% of the time. Now prospects are saying yes to looking at what I have to offer and I have replaced stress with fun!

Another skill I learned in Go90Grow was upfront contracts. Now I don’t have to waste my time with n0-shows.  Recruiting rejection free is a breeze since I started using upfront contracts.

This course has helped me develop the right mindset of self-awareness, self confidence and self management and the skill sets; more effective communication, time management, network marketing skills and team building and coaching skills. Now my production is off the charts. Since I have become a better coach using Go90Grow, I am no longer wasting my time with people who aren’t ready to go now!

The greatest thing about this course was I was able to learn it so quickly and easily and teach it immediately to my down line.

So if you would like to get more people to look at your business and get the people who agreed to look to actually look and show up for the follow up then you will want to add Go90Grow to your arsenal and help those in your group succeed.

Everybody knows if we’re going to make some money in network
marketing, we need to learn some skills.

Go90 Grow  gets my 5 Star rating, it’s a free video series that is
making a difference in people’s networking businesses right now
I don’t recommend things unless I’ve tried and tested them myself.

go90grow enrollment closing Thurs night 3/21/13

Have you heard of go90grow? If not

now is your chance.

Mark Januszewski is shutting down go90grow
enrollment around 11:00 PM Kauai time
[Thursday the 21st]

Learn more here

Go to the link above and just click on ‘Get Go90Grow’

He had anticipated taking enrollment through
the 28th of March – but he’s
at the cap* – no kidding

The word is out about go90grow.

*Cap?  Most people familiar with
go90grow know he limits the class
because of the hands-on-support his team gives.
They simply will not compromise the
support they’ve become known for,
including 1:1 coaching at no charge, ever

Since Mark gives everyone 2 go90grow memberships
for the price of 1 – they must anticipate
2x the members.

You read that right, it’s 2 for 1
just at it always has been.   This
means you can give 1 away or
spilit the cost with someone.
Very cool.

If you missed the live webcasts,
he’s posted 1 here

Click on ‘get go90grow’ and
you can see the webcast and crazy
bonus material that is actually useful

I know the guy, he’s a straight shooter.

On a personal note, I can tell you this isn’t
someone claiming to know something.  The
$30,000,000 MLM that hired him is breaking
records using this training.  The proof of who
to trust is in the printout….and the printout
on this course is astonishing.   Record sales,
month in and month out for an entire company.

That company grew it’s volume by 197% since
all the reps got Go90Grow.   Amazing is
an understatement.

You’ll not see that from anyone ‘claiming’ to
be an expert.  I know the guy, the material and
what is has done for individuals and a major MLMs

Mark usually  closes down the enrollment page
when he heads to bed…..the truth is
during yesterday’s webcast they hit the cap….
but promised they’d keep the page open
for another day after the live webcast.

Go here now to watch webcast and learn more about go90grow

10 Tips to Improve Your Listening Skills

One of my goals for the new year is to improve my listening skills.

“The way we communicate with others and with ourselves ultimately determines the quality of our lives”~Anthony Robbins

1. Make eye contact. Meet the speakers gaze occasionally, but don’t stare.

2. Be aware of your body language. Mirror the speaker’s body language. Nodding your head is a good way to let them know you are listening and encourages them to continue. Smile and project a positive attitude.

3. Try to remove distractions. Turn off the cell phone.

4. Be silent. “Remember you have two ears and one mouth for a reason.” Let the other person talk at their own pace. Resist the impulse to share your similar experience.

5. Be an active listener. Try to put yourself in their shoes and see their point of view. Avoid thinking of your response in your head while listening.

6. Use encouraging words like; mm, I see, Right, Uh huh.

7. Don’t interrupt. Wait for the speaker to ask your opinion.

8. Occasionally summarize or restate in  your own words. This will allow the speaker to correct any misconceptions.

9. Ask meaningful and empowering questions.

10. Tell the person at the end of the conversation how much you enjoyed what they had to say.

Now practice, practice, practice.

2 Things Make MLMer’s Rich in ‘Summer Slow-Down’ by guest blogger Mark Januszewski

SUMMER SLOW DOWN

Do things get slower in the summer?

Yes.

Can you build a big business during the summer?

Yes.

Huh?

How can I say things slow down in the summer and you can build big?

Common sense.  Well, common sense and organized planning.

Those two things led to the biggest months I’ve ever had in MLM.  But it’s even bigger.

Everybody says the fall is a great building time….so …..if you have a big summer and have momentum coming into what most people believe is a ‘good building time’ you just get that much bigger.

PLANNING

We’ve got to understand that MLMer’s are prone to ‘convenient’ thinking……we tend to rationalize our sloth…..and contradict ourselves if we are not careful.

What does virtually every MLMer say?   If you treat it like a hobby it will pay you like a hobby.  If you treat it like a business, it will pay you like a business.

Here comes the ‘contradiction’ of convenience.   We no sooner get done saying ‘if you treat it like a business…‘ then say our business is not like other businesses….and that is always followed with some convoluted reasoning as to why making calls in the future is a good move.  Good Grief.  Talk about wanting it both ways.

Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail

What do restaurants do with the same challenges?  The good ones, that is.

Plan ahead.

During holidays restaurants don’t need to push, at other times they do.  Most good restaurant owners, all good business owners for that matter, understand business planning.

PERFECT PLANNING

Good planner know the difference between strategy and tactics…..so they hit their objectives.  They use common sense, understand their competition and leverage information, not commonly held beliefs to construct rock solid business plans that give them momentum coming into easier times…….they don’t wait for the seasons to change…..they are running a successful business.

What does that mean?

It means they define the ‘alleged’ slower times instead of letting the ‘alleged’ slower times define them.

COMMON SENSE

Let’s say Al believes summer is slow……so he slows down……so will Harry’s group.

Nancy, on the other hand…..decides she’s not buying in [you'll learn why you shouldn't buy in by viewing the short video below]…..and builds during the summer.

So Al believes things pick up in mid September…….what does Al have to do in mid September?

Get his group and himself going again.  It will take at least 3-4 weeks to get rolling again.

Nancy hits September 15th with a white-hot team…..and things get even easier.

Nancy has built a 10 week head start on Al……that he will never be able to close up.

And the same sin will be committed by Al and his team again at Holiday season….falling another 10 weeks behind…….

Wait, it’s worse for Al……he’ll repeat that every year…….2x a year he gives one of his competitors 10 weeks.

IT’S BIGGER THAN YOU CAN THINK

There are 1000 Al’s to every 20 Nancy’s.

Nancy not only kicks butt in the summer……she hasn’t had to DO ANYTHING to eliminate 98% of her competition.

How much easier would it be for you if 98% of your competition vanished…….and they do 2x a year…..December and Summer…

What does Nancy know that Al doesn’t?

WINNERS PLAN AHEAD

If we are going to make some money, we need to learn some network marketing skills.

Once we know the skills…..we need to use a key component from Think and Grow Rich, organized planning.  Read what Hill has to say here.

This week in Go90Grow, the course we offer to a limited of members…..we are building out the, as Hill writes’, the ‘perfect plan’ for each and every member.   So many of them are doing so well that we’ll be offering, for the first and only time…a summer session…..and those that check it out will hit September 15th as highly skilled professional networkers…..with more well trained people in their group…….while Al and his team sit at the beach or hit golf balls ‘waiting’ for things to pick up.

Everybody knows the course fills…..fast…..you can get on the early notification list right here…….

Common sense and organized planning ….. will change the lives of some people this summer……..what’s cool is that it is not about luck.

6 Simple Stratagies for Writing Blogs That Get Read by guest blogger Kathy Zimmer

Do you ever feel like you’re the only one reading the posts on your blog? You know, the ones you spent a lot of time and effort on getting them just right? You’re even writing blogs to HELP people in some area, but most of the time, very few people are noticing what you’ve poured your heart into.

Don’t worry, you’re not alone! Many bloggers feel the same way. There are some simple strategies you can use to make your blog posts a lot more interesting and engaging to your readers, which will motivate them to return for more.

First of all, make sure you have an option on your site so people can easily opt-in to receive your posts by email. A good service to use is Google FeedBurner. Set it up to have just a small portion of your post come to their inbox, then people will have a reason to click-thru to your blog to read more. (This drives traffic to your site instead of stopping at their inbox).

Give your target audience what they want

In other words, don’t answer questions that no one is asking or give information that no one wants to know. How do you find out what your target audience wants to know? Use Wordtracker to find the popular questions that people are asking in your market or niche and write about that. (A niche is a distinct segment of a market).

After you’ve determined what to write about, ask yourself what kind of a spin you could put on it to make it fresh and interesting to your readers. What kind of a different angle could you use? What do you want the tone of your post to be? (Funny, serious, friendly?) Next, choose one of the 6 simple strategies below to format your blog post to really engage your readers:

1. The List: People love numbers. So have a short introductory paragraph or two then launch into your list. A couple of examples would be, “5 Social Media Strategies to Grow Your Business” or “7 Skills You Need to Succeed in Network Marketing.” Then provide the helpful list and a sentence or two to explain each item.

2. The Survey: (2 versions) #1 – Repeat the results of a study or survey. Set it up in a fresh and interesting way. #2 – Do you own mini-survey. Ask an interesting question, then answer it with three or four real-life examples. You can use Wordtracker to give you survey ideas that are relevant, interesting and helpful to your target audience.

3. The Trend: Repeat the results of a new (or relevant) trend that is happening in your market or niche. Write about the trend’s origins, benefits and any shortcomings or negatives (so you can show people how to avoid them). Example: “Social Media – A Help or a Hindrance To Networkers?”

4. The Interview: Interview an expert in your market and use a Q & A format to give your readers the best nuggets of their advice. The goal is to provide real value to your readers.

5. The How To: Write a short introductory paragraph, then show your readers step-by-step how to do something that will benefit them. Always keep the focus on your target audience or niche. You may want to offer resources in your post and provide the links.

6. The Knock-Down: Set up a premise and knock it down in your post. This may be something that is generally perceived by most people in your target market to be true or effective, but there is evidence that it’s not. An example: Many networkers think that social media alone will build their business when the real money earners KNOW that specific networking skills are needed to have true success. Offer a resource if it’s relevant. (Example: Here’s a free networking skill on Duplication.) Make sure you have a big positive at the end to either show your readers what to avoid, or lead them to something that will shorten their learning curve and bring them success quicker.

To your success,

Kathy

Improve Yourself~ Four Questions to Ponder in 2012……

Over a  year ago I purchased the Challenge to Succeed CD series by Jim Rohn and completed the home study work book. The workbook was designed to bring about self-discovery. To let the student, walk the path of your own answers, meeting your own challenges.  I read every page. I worked every exercise. I want to do whatever it takes to remove the obstacles and to eliminate the limitations and to pay whatever price I must pay because you only have one life and it was meant to be discovered and enjoyed.

Four Questions to Ponder…….by Jim Rohn

1. WHY?

Why bother setting goals or trying to achieve them? Why bother developing discipline? Why go that far? Why get up that early or stay up that late? Why spend the time reading books?

These are the questions which, left unanswered, can lead us into passive mediocrity.  After all, most of us are fairly content at the moment-we have a roof over our heads, food to eat, a job that pays us adequately. Why should we spend all that extra time and energy?

Personal changes are not made overnight. Becoming more than we are in order to have more than we’ve currently got is always going to be a struggle. Like a jigsaw puzzle, we must painstakingly put together the pieces of our life, one at a time, to create the finished picture, the final dreams. You cannot make the personal changes in a few weeks any more than you can put together a complex puzzle in a matter of minutes. There are always going to be those months when you look at your dreams of a better future and say, “Why bother?”

Perhaps the best answer to this question is this…

2.  WHY NOT?

Why not see how far you can go, how high you can climb, how much you can become? What else are you going to do with your life? You can plan to merely “get by”, but life can be so much more to be seen, to be learned, to be discovered, to be tried. Why not go the extra mile?

The exciting thing about being a human being on this spinning planet is the unlimited possiblities that await us all. Within each of us lies so much potential that even if we devoted the rest of our lives to its exploration, we would never discover more than half of it. The future stands before us like an endless corridor of unopened doors. In the time that remains, we may only have a chance to open a few hundred-but better a few hundred than a mere handful!

3.  WHY NOT YOU?

Some people have done the most incredible things…why not you? Others have achieved their goals, lived their dreams…why not you?

There is only one thing that stands between what you are at this moment and all you dream of one day becoming-YOU! Let go of all the reasons why you can’t and start to do all the things that prove you can. History books and modern chronicles are filled with stories of men and women-even children-who have done truly remarkable things despite the worst circumstances. Physical handicaps can be overcome. Poverty and lack of education do not need to remain obstacles. Experience can be developed. Skills can be learned. Attitudes can be changed. there is nothing that cannot be overcome by commitment and discipline. There is nothing that you cannot achieve if you will truly believe in yourself and your dreams.

4. WHY NOT NOW!

Why let another day pass without going to work on your goals? Why postpone the better future any longer? The sooner you get at it, the sooner you get it.

There is one thing you can be sure about-the next five years are going to pass, whether you do anything or not. Time is relentless. You cannot slow down the arrival of tomorrow any more than you can turn back the hands of the clock to yesterday. Time is indifferent to human needs or desires. Sooner or later five years will have passed. You cannot effect the passage of time, but you can alter how the time passes. In five years you can be where you currently are or in five years you can be half way toward the dreams you wrote down for yourself.

Why not get at it right now? Why delay your better future a moment longer? Tomorrow will soon be here; of this you can be certain. The question is where will you be when it arrives? Why not go to work on changing it all right now? I know I plan to.

I wish you much success in 2012. At this very minute you stand on the threshold of a future that knows no limits, a tomorrow that recognizes no past and a day that acknowledges only this moment. It is a time for choice. it is a time for resolve. It is a time for commitment.

Improve Yourself~Overcoming resistance

I read this piece of literature by the late William Penn Patrick and love the message. It was written around 1970. Enjoy!

“No person, ideal or institution becomes great until Great Resistance has been encountered. Greatness cannot be achieved  until this concept is understood.

Unfortunately, the average person is ignorant of this rule to achievement.  Mr. and Mrs. Average, in their ignorance, are fearful and reluctant to encounter even slight resistance. They don’t want to make waves or be criticized and they incorrectly feel that criticism will hold them back and prevent their happiness from being realized. In truth, the opposite is the case.

Take note: when we begin to change our jobs, we are first given resistance by our loved ones, for they fear change because change means facing the unknown! When we begin to make rapid achievement or commitment to rapid progress, we have road blocks thrown up by our friends and relations. They begin to resist by negative comments and actions which are devices to cause you to maintain the ‘status quo’.

Now, if you are to achieve great progress, you must prevail against those closest to you; this is difficult and requires courage because you desire to please and not hurt those you love. The truth is that great harm befall your loved ones when you fail to be yourself and do your thing. This is so, because you lose your enthusiasm for life, your growth process stops and your self-esteem diminishes.

Those negatives are revered when you stand your ground; and when you have prevailed, your loved ones gain a new and higher respect for you. History records countless events which prove the point. For an example, the greatest of all men overcame the most severe form of resistance and in so doing gave birth to Christianity. Had Jesus Christ run from His opposition, we would not know His name today, nor would we have available for our use those great and wonderful truths He brought forth for us so that humanity could find their individual greatness.

Furthermore, Christianity met “its” greatest resistance in Rome. Thousands of Christians were crucified in Rome. This resistance was met and in so doing, gave life to the force of Christianity, and Rome became the center of all Christianity-now, and for the past 1700 years, Rome has remained the very center of the Christian world.

Let these great lessons of the past stay in our mind as a beacon in our personal and corporate future. Let us understand and be grateful that our ideas have proven worthy of tremendous resistance. Today, all over the world, great forces have risen to resist our growth. These forces fear us for what we represent and they are attempting to destroy us and our dreams. Our understanding of this phenomenon and our strength of character and our commitment to our way of life is prevailing over these resistance. This resistance is evidence of our greatness and it provides us with the energy to prevail, to conquer and to dominate. These next few short years will record a brilliant history and establish a permanent place for our way of life-which is Freedom to be and to work out our dreams for a great world, for ourselves, for children and all humankind.

Understand our battle and be glorified that you are a part of the making of history. the work you do today in the defense of our way will provide new freedom and hope for millions yet to come. Stand tall in the face of our enemy…your resolution and commitment will seize his heart with fear and he will fade into oblivion.  AND THAT IS THE LAW OF LIFE.”

Guest Blogger: Choosing the Right MLM Company by Lisa Anderson

So your best friend just came to you with the most amazing business opportunity….What’s your answer going to be?  ”Oh no!  or  Oh yes!”  Neither! Do your homework first!  What the heck does that mean to you?  Whatever you do, don’t blindly jump into a business because your best friend is doing it or you just LOVE the product or service offered.

Don’t just jump in!

Those are important criteria but there is a lot more to check out…..Systematically examine the 5 KEY criteria below when choosing the specific business that just might allow you to financially take care of yourself and family forever.

1.  Check the credentials of the company. How long has the company been in their business?  Start up or seasoned? There are pros and cons for both.  Is it publicly traded?  That can mean more transparency and no shenanigans going on behind the corporate scene.  Is the management team seasoned or totally out of their element?  Have any of the board members ever been in MLM or Direct Sales before as individuals?  That will give them a sense of what it’s like to be in the trenches.  Do the current timing and trends for society fit the company’s product or service line?  This is a big one…..you want to be in front of that wave riding it, not paddling to catch up from behind.

You want to be on the front side of this wave!

2.  Dig in and learn about the product or service line.  Is it a ONE time high priced commission sale on a time share like property?  Or is it a product that is affordable and consumable every month and therefore offering a nice monthly residual income?   If the product is consumable, is it also unique or are there hundreds of other similar products easily purchased through any other company?  Does the product live up to the company promises?  Are there scientific studies on the “whole” product itself or just on the individual ingredients?  Huge difference here……lots of studies are done on individual ingredients but often it’s not the case on the whole product itself.

3.  Ask about attrition regarding the product or service.  What is the customer base usage compared to the distributor force usage?  Our company has a 70% customer base with pure customers only.  (they are not also distributors.  This is key to our sustained growth.)  You want to know that the product or service is affordable for the whole family to be consuming it.  Often the price point for one person to be consuming the product is all a family can afford.  When times get tough like they are now, a high priced consumable product will be the first luxury to go in order to pay bills, so it must be affordable.

4.  Understanding at least the basics on the compensation plan is vital.  They’re often confusing to dissect but a general understanding of the basic way to earn your income is important.  Yes, it’s okay to earn while you learn but how on earth will you share this side of a business opportunity if you don’t at least have a summary understanding of it.  Don’t be afraid to ask for specifics.  What is the minimum monthly order you need to participate in to qualify for a commission?  Can you count your personal customers volume towards your own to qualify?  How many different ways can you earn a commission?

5.  What is the initial entry cost? It’s all relative……some will feel $600 is an incredibly high entry price to start a business while others who might have owned their own brick and mortar type business will believe it’s a no brainer compared to the $60K to $100K they might have spent to open theirs.  Do you receive product to get started?  How about marketing tools?  What are the training systems? Are you on your own or is there a team in place to help you get started?

As you can see, picking the best business for the most likely outcome of success is more than the throw of a couple of dice.  You absolutely must look at these 5 criteria when choosing a company. We got incredibly lucky with our choice of a business and have been told we’ve hit a home run.  In hindsight, it’s clear we covered every single criteria listed here, so do your homework and get the facts first.   You can check the Better Business Bureau and Direct Selling Association for reviews……whatever you do, don’t only rely on an article or blog you happen to roll across online..  You’re looking for unbiased information.  There are both good and bad companies out there and you want to be sure and pick a winner!  If you’re interested in learning more about ours, leave a comment and I’ll shoot you an email.

The economic news is dismal if you focus on the media and believe all the negativity.  Lots and lots of people are finding hope and a way out of debt with their network marketing businesses.  If you’re “willing” and “able”, there’s no reason why you can’t be added to the list of successful people running their own businesses.

Don’t cave in to this thought!

Don’t cave in with the thought there’s no way out!

Believe in yourself!

Lisa

Improve Yourself~Outwit the Devil Within

After 72 years in hiding, Napoleon Hills Manuscript, Outwitting the Devil has been released. “You will discover whether the devil he interviews is real or imaginary, much like the devil that you may personally be dealing with in your life and experience”~Mark Victor Hansen.

They say that when the student is ready the teacher will appear. Think and Grow Rich was the right message during the  great depression. Is it possible that Outwitting the Devil is the right message for our current times? It seems that Hill’s message and philosophies are timeless.

I read and re-read Hill’s Think and Grow Rich every day. It provides a road map to success. Outwitting the Devil will help you break through barriers that may be holding you back. Hill describes in his book how he mastered his fears. It may provide answers during these tough economic times. It provides the keys to outwit the devil in our own lives. He shows  how to transform our thoughts from fear to faith.

Hill discusses the seven principles to attain spiritual, mental and physical freedom.

1)Definiteness of purpose. Faith is definiteness of purpose, backed by belief in the attainment of the object of that purpose.

2)Mastery over self.  The person who is no master of himself can never be master of others.  We tend to want to change people when we can truly only change ourselves and how we react to others.

3)Learning from adversity. Every adversity brings with it the seed of an equivalent advantage. The seed consists of some idea or plan or some opportunity which would not have been available except through the change of thought-habits forced by the adversity. Success usually is but one short step beyond the point where one quits fighting.

4)Controlling environmental influences(associations). All people absorb and take over, either consciously or unconsciously the thought habits of those with whom they associate closely. Associate with people whose dominating thoughts are positive, friendly and harmonious.

5)Time(giving permanence to positive rather than negative thought-habits and developing wisdom). People are not born with wisdom, but they are born with the capacity to think, and they may, through the lapse of time, think their way into wisdom. By using our ability to think and analyzing our experiences in life, whether successes or failures, we can gain wisdom.

6)Harmony(acting with definiteness of purpose to become the dominating influence in  your own mental, spiritual and physical environment).

7)Caution (thinking through your plan before you act)

These are the seven steps which lead us out of our own self made prisons in which we are bound.

Napoleon Hill wanted to share this message with the world in the 1930′s, but instead it was hidden away in a vault to be finally uncovered and shared with you in 2011.  The good news is that it is never too late for  a new beginning.

“Fear is the tool of a man-made devil. Self confident faith in one’s self is both the man-made weapon which defeats this devil and the man-made tool which builds a triumphant life and it is more than that. It is a link to the irresistible forces of the universe which stand behind a man who does not believe in failure and defeat as being anything but temporary experiences”.~Napoleon Hill

Napoleon Hill’s philosophy of individual achievement:

“One’s dominating desires can be crystallized into their physical equivalent through definiteness of purpose backed by definiteness of plans, with the aid of nature’s law of hypnotic rhythm(Emerson’s Law of Compensation) and time”.

Like Hill you are here to master your fears and not let them master you. To live passionately and with purpose, to decide what you want to be, do, and have and to make it so.

“Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve!”

Improve yourself~ Suggestions to motivate the motivator.

To be a good motivating leader we need  regular self-renewal. Management of your own motivation must take a high priority.

How is the motivator motivated? Here are five suggestions from Bringing Out the Best in People by Alan Loy Mcginnis.

  1. Association with successful, positive people. In some cases you may need to distance yourself somewhat from pessimistic people who pull you down.  At least you must be certain to spend considerable time with individuals who inspire you, people who will stimulate your thinking, restore your vision, and stretch your capacity for dreaming. “If you are determined to be successful, it is very important to associate with success-oriented people.”
  2. Monitor carefully the ideas entering your mind, for as a the computer people say, “garbage in, garbage out.” If you become what you think, and if you feed a constant stream of junk and trivia into your brain, you are unlikely to be the strong persuader you want to be. You may need to turn off the TV, watch less news, and instead read great books, or mull over the powerful ideas of the Bible.
  3. Take advantage of the wealth of information now available on inexpensive CD’s. The wonderful thing about the CD’s  is that in listening to them we get not only the ideas of great people but it is the next best thing to being with them in person-by listening to their voices we have a chance to make contact with their personalities, with their energy and enthusiasm. So rather then letting the radio’s stream of nonsense occupy your driving hours or the time when you are waiting, listen to CD’s or MP3 downloads of inspiring and successful people whose stories will elevate your moods. According to a study made at the University of Southern California, if you live in a metropolitan area and drive 12,000 miles each year, in three years’ time you can acquire the equivalent of two years of college lectures.
  4. Attend classes and seminars. It is worth a few hundred miles of travel and a few hundred dollars to audit courses taught by bright people where you can associate with other highly motivated persons.
  5. Keep a journal in which you write down goals and a record of your spiritual journey. A good journal is quite different from a diary. You are not writing down events that happened outside you during the day-rather you are observing and recording the movements of your soul. If this is done consistently, positive dreams and objectives are certain to arise from  the unconscious. Freud was rather pessimistic about the unconscious: he thought that in psychotherapy it needed to be uncovered and the unconscious material needed to be aired, but for him it was like taking the lid off a septic tank-there was all manner of dark and horrendous material there. Carl Jung, on the other hand, was much more an optimist about who we are at our deepest level. He believed that when we uncover the unconscious we may find some aberrations and there may be some blackness, but it is our deepest self that is the source of all great art.  It is, Jung thought, the source of all things beautiful and creative, and it is a point at which we meet God. If Jung is right, then one of the surest ways to keep our motivation high is to keep open the corridors between our conscious mind and the unconscious mind.

The ability to give inspiring leadership is an inner quality of spirit: it requires people who, to use Emerson’s noble phrase, “live from a great depth of being.” and such spirituality does not come upon us suddenly. It accrues gradually from persistent study and regular cultivation.
